The Chesmont Astronomical Society is a non-profit amateur astronomy club that exists to observe the night sky and to talk about what we have seen. We meet each month off Route 100 between Exton and Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and we observe every dark window and every other chance we can get! Please read our About Us pages for more information.

CAS is a proud member of the Astronomical League.

Another DS4 run

Looks like Thursday or Friday may be clear.

With Sheree's schedule with the Meadery this weekend. I can't go to the more distant sites (SGL 251 or DSX).

Like to get the 22" up there.

I must say DS4 was awesome this past Saturday night in both transparency and seeing.

Anyone else?

A Great Night at SGL-251

Well, I'm certainly glad that I left the party I was at early and skipped seeing the Jimmy Buffet tribute band at the Hollywood Casino yesterday evening. Last night was one of the best nights I've had at SGL-251. More later when I'm conscious.

Sunday Night Observing Run

Is anyone interested in going to DSX tonight? I had considered leaving for CSSP today but my plans have changed.

Classic Red Coulter 10" Odyssey Questions
