January Meeting

A regular monthly meeting of the Chesmont Astronomical Society (CAS) will be held on Sunday, January 31st in the Community Room at National Penn Bank, located on Rt. 23 about 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Rts. 23 and 100. The meeting will be open and free to the public. Karl Krasley will give a presentation on observing late winter objects. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and end at approximately 9:00 pm. Anyone wishing to assist in setting up for the meeting and/or socializing prior to the meeting is welcome to arrive by 6:30 pm. Refreshments will be available. Also, as a reminder, annual dues may be paid to Sue Heinz, VP and Membership Chairperson ($32 individual and $48 family). Checks should be made payable to "Chesmont Astronomical Society".

Re: January Meeting

As much as I love to hear Karl giving his talk on late winter objects, I think others might find it a little boring if he keeps giving the same talk all the way up through May as the meeting calendar indicates. I guess a good thing is worth repeating and repeating and repeating.
