Starfest was a success. Had to deal with some clouds, but heard some great talks and got to look through some telescopes. Thanks to all of our guests for attending. Plan for Starfest 2018 returning to August next year.
And the winner is… M57, the Ring Nebula. Thanks to all who participated in the voting.

The ChesMont Astronomical Society (CAS) has operated in Chester County and Montgomery County area in Pennsylvania since 1986. We are dedicated to observing the night sky and educating the public about the wonders of the universe through outreach events.
We meet monthly, on the Sunday evening closest to the full moon, at 7pm at the Crow’s Nest Preserve (see map) in Elverson, Pennsylvania.
